If you're looking for algebra, you've enrolled in the right place!

### Topic 1

Week 1: Getting to Know You!

Welcome, everybody, to the first week of Letters for Numbers . We're going to start off very gently, so don't expect too much work this week! We'll introduce ourselves, find out how this course can work for you, and do a quick survey of what you already know.

Please note: You will notice in this course that there are examples for you to do. If it helps you to write them on paper and then put your answers online, that is fine. Some people will like to do the examples in their heads, and others will prefer to write everything on paper and work that way. Please work in the way that is best and easiest for you!

### Topic 2

Week 2: The language of algebra

Welcome back, everybody! This week we'll learn some of the language used in algebra and some of ways algebra is written. You'll have a chance to practice with some examples.### Topic 3

Week 3: Working with algebra

It's already week 3! This week we'll get some more algebra practice and think about why algebra is good to know. You'll have a chance to practice with more examples and test your skill with two short quizzes.### Topic 4

Week 4: Wrapping up algebra

We are at Week 4 already! Last week was a long lesson so you might need some time this week to finish that up. This week you can try some two-step algebra problems. You can check what you've learned. Please be sure to complete the evaluation at the end.
